Siqhoza said the inaugural platform is to uplift the BuKalanga culture and at the same time using cultural activities to uplift the economy of Bulilima.
“Our objectives are to revive and promote the local culture, tradition through traditional dance, music and exhibition of cultural items that include traditional foods. We want to promote awareness to youth and ensure guidance. We want to promote cultural pride and identity in the community.
“Our vision is that by 2025 we would have created jobs to all ages through activities that include cultural caperntry, cultural wear, cultural hairdressing among other jobs. In future we want to create a storehouse for these cultural things at Gwambe that will be operational daily,” said Siqhoza.
