Andrea The Vocalist of the popular song Uhambo who was in South Africa, is back in the country.

His journey was a success as he met valuable connections that are expected to make his dream a reality.

While bidding farewell to Andrea The Vocalist yesterday at the OR Tambo Airport, his manager Tendai Joe who is the founder of JBross Entertainment, gave an update on Andrea’s tour and the connections he made.

“While here, Andrea managed to link up with Aubrey Qwana and they recorded visuals for Uhambo. On Tuesday from about 5PM, Andrea got down to business with DJ Maphorisa. They recorded a few songs and there’s also a new song that he recorded with Aubrey Qwana that people should expect.

“Anytime from now, he might return to record another song with DJ Maphorisa,” Tendai Joe said.

He said the public will be made aware of the songs release on social media soon, adding that they are still deliberating on whether to release the songs as singles or as an EP.

Giving his followers a detailed brief of his SA trip, Andrea said he was satisfied with the trip as he managed to do all that he had travelled to do.

“It’s been great to be here in South Africa. I managed to do everything I came here for, including recording more than five songs, shooting a music video for Uhambo with Aubrey Qwana and recording with DJ Maphorisa.

“Andrea was also taken on a tour of Nelson Mandela’s former house now called Sanctuary Mandela by the CEO of the Nelson Mandela Foundation who hosted him,” said Tendai Joe.

At the OR Tambo Airport yesterday, the youngster met one Mr Gossa who presented him with gifts. As if that was not enough, he went on to book Andrea for the Mpumalanga Afro-pop and Jazz Festival that will be held in October.
