Baba Harare has released his debut gospel album titled “Repentance,” featuring nine tracks: “Makanaka”, “Famba Neni”, “He Loves You”, “Patinofamba”, “Sukai” featuring Takesure Zamar Ncube, “Jesu Idombo Rekare”, “Ndoteura”, “Hossana” and “I run to you”.

The album, available on YouTube, has garnered positive feedback. “Sukai”, released alongside its visuals, reached the 15th position on the country’s trending videos on YouTube moments after being uploaded. This track, featuring Takesure Zamar Ncube, is a powerful and uplifting song that focuses on the theme of Jesus washing away people’s sins. It beautifully conveys the message of redemption and forgiveness through Jesus Christ and serves as a reminder of the hope and grace found in Him, offering comfort and encouragement to all who listen.

When Baba Harare announced his transition from secular music to gospel, some fans worried he might lose his touch. However, with this album, which retains elements of Jiti, fans appear satisfied, a sentiment the musician is proud of.
