FREE-SPENDING Castle Lager Premier Soccer League (PSL) newbies, Scottland FC have declared a total invasion of Bulawayo where they are going to take on Highlanders at Barbourfields Stadium on Sunday.

The highly anticipated match is expected to attract a capacity crowd at Emagumeni.
Having played their first three matches at Rufaro Stadium in Harare, Scottland FC are set for a first trip outside the capital.

Through their official social media, the flamboyant side affirmed that they are coming to the City of Kings and Queens for real football business.

“Mabviravira” as Scottland are fondly known, were yet to play outside Harare, having faced Triangle United and Ngezi Platinum Stars at Rufaro Stadium while their ‘away’ fixture against CAPS United was also played at the same venue.

While the club will head to Bulawayo as a bruised lot after suffering a 1-0 defeat at the hands of Ngezi Platinum Stars in their Week Three encounter, their outspoken club owner Pedzisai ‘Scott’ Sakupwanya is optimistic they will get the better of Bosso in their own backyard.

Sakupwanya has assuredly predicted that his side will thump “Amahlolanya,”4-0.
“I want to say to Highlanders FC, we are coming for you. We will beat you 4-0,” he said.
Bosso concluded their week-long camp in Beitbridge with victories over Bishopstone and Dulibadzimu in friendly matches.

They triumphed 8-0 against Bishopstone, with braces from Nigel Banda, Tendai Muvuti and Nqobile Ndlovu and goals from Never Rauzhi and Gillian Nyathi.

Brighton Ncube

Against Dulibadzimu, Brighton “MaNinja” Ncube scored a brace, to secure a 2-1 win for Bosso.
Captain, Ariel Sibanda said the camp provided the team with an opportunity to address mistakes from their opening three games this season.

Bosso, who have earned four points from one win and a draw, could have performed better, had errors not cost them in away matches.

Highlanders goalkeeper Raphael Pitisi

Goalkeeper, Raphael Pitisi made mistakes in games against MWOS and GreenFuel, which affected the team’s results.

Sibanda, a senior figure within the squad, emphasised the benefits of the Beitbridge camp where the team bonded and worked hard to overcome their weaknesses.

“We are eager to play Scottland. The spirit in camp is high,” said Sibanda who recently extended his contract for another two years, driven by his ambition to help the club win its long-awaited league title.
Sibanda believes the camp was beneficial, saying:

“The international break was a blessing in disguise because this camp helped us bond and work on our mistakes.”
