With a total enrolment of 137 learners, the ceremony saw 28 ECD B graduates receive their certificates, marking their transition to the school’s infant mainstream next year. “We enrol from ECD A to grade 5 at the moment. Our school was opened in 2022 and we have a total staff of 10 teachers and 3 ancillary staff. We have a teacher-pupil ratio of 1:15 and we are looking forward to enrol up to grade 7 soon.” Said Mr Dennis Kapiya the school Head.

Mr Danisa Nkomo requested a moment of silence from the audience to honour the memory of Ashley Moyo, a learner who passed away on October 25, 2024. During his speech, he expressed gratitude to the school owner for their contribution to education, which complements the government’s efforts in providing access to education. “The school is set to receive support from the Ministry in terms of policy guidance as it moves to the Heritage-based curriculum in 2025. With this support, coupled with the school’s private status, which typically offers better facilities and a more favourable teacher-to-pupil ratio, expectations are high for improved academic performance.” Said Mr Nkomo.
