 Beitbridge-based versatile musician Gift Ndlovu, affectionately known as Bhadilah, is officially off the market after paying lobola for his longtime sweetheart, Shyleen Mudau, on Sunday. The couple, who have been dating for nearly five years, celebrated the occasion with a vibrant display of Venda traditions, reflecting their shared cultural heritage.

 Bhadilah, who felt it was the perfect time to take their relationship to the next level, expressed his commitment to ensuring their union stands the test of time.

“We met in 2019 in Beitbridge when she was home for the holidays from her studies at Kwame Nkrumah University in Ghana. The lobola ceremony was a beautiful union of our families – Ndlovu/Muleya (Siyoga) and Mudau (Mapolovhele)/Tshakhuma,” he said.

 The musician shared his excitement about the future, stating, “I’m optimistic about what lies ahead and looking forward to a brighter future with Shyleen. I’m not fazed by any negative comments about marriage; this new chapter in my life fills me with joy.”
