BHEKENI Celtics will need to collect maximum points in their last match of the season against Barrow Street Vets tomorrow at Luveve B Arena in order to clinch the 2018 Southern Region Division Three Soccer League championship.

Celtics are topping the league table with 53 points from 21 games having won 17, drawn and lost two matches.

Mathematically, the race for championship is still open as second placed Khami United are breathing closely with 49 points after 20 games.

In order to dislodge Celtics at the top, Khami will have to pray for better fortunes in their last two matches and hope that the log leaders lose tomorrow’s match. Khami welcomes El Shadai at Khami ground tomorrow.

After thumping Sunrise 4-0 last week, Talen Vision are hoping to continue with their fine form when they visit Corn Cob at Ngenile. Talen Vision are third on the table with 46 points from 21 games.

Lupane State University (LSU) United will be out to atone for their 3-0 defeat last week at the hands of Celtics when they welcome Vitality at Raylton Sports Club.

Meanwhile, Ajax Hotspurs are hoping to extend their unbeaten streak to 25 in the Bulawayo Division Two league when they welcome Lobengula Stars at Bango today.

Ajax are topping the league table with 56 points from 24 matches while second placed Arenel Movers have 52 points from 25 games. Arenel Movers visit Sabona Mzilikazi at Sotshangane ground today.

Chicken Inn are also in contention for the title with 49 points from 24 games. They play Zenzele Tigers at Njube’s Desert Stadium today.
