A blind mystic who predicted Brexit, the Twin Towers attacks and the rise of ISIS has predicted “worldwide gloom” for the whole of 2019.

Baba Vanga has been dubbed the “Nostradamus of the Balkans” for her predictions, which seem to strike with eerie regularity.

And her life-changing occurrences for the next 12 months have been branded “gloomy and miserable”, and will blight 2019 in woe.

Vladimir Putin will come from inside his own security team, she reportedly said, and a mega-tsunami, similar to the 2004 disaster, will strike in Asia.

She said a meteorite will land in Russia too, it’s claimed, and Donald Trump will fall ill with a mystery illness, leaving him deaf and suffering from brain trauma.

But cynics have today mocked her foresights as “garbage”.

Many believe her predictions to be too gloomy.

Writing on Facebook, one person said: “Could she not predict something nice to happen to this world.”

Another posted: “So it is going to be a year of worldwide gloom?”

A furious Facebook user wrote: “First of all that’s all garbage! No one can predict the future!”

Someone else online posted: “Next year is going to be quite desperate.”

“Has she any good news or is it all doom and gloom,” added another.

Baba Vanga, born Vangelia Gushterova, passed away in 1996 aged 85 but had already developed a noted reputation in her home country of Bulgaria by the time of her death.

The clairvoyant was partially sighted after a freak accident when she was 12.

She reportedly made hundreds of predictions in her 50-year career, many of which were never written down.

She shot to prominence worldwide after accurately predicting the sinking of the Kursk in 2000.

Her millions of followers believe she had paranormal abilities including telepathy and being able to communicate with aliens. – The Mirror
