RELEGATION threatened Bulawayo City coach Bekithemba Ndlovu is confident his side can spring surprises when they face Highlanders tomorrow.

The former Highlanders captain said he has got respect for his opponents and he believes tomorrow’a match can go either way.

“We know Highlanders is a big club in the country and we have got so much respect for them. They also have a good coach who has performed very well locally and regionally. They will have home crowd advantage which might work against us but the boys have been preparing well for that. Come Sunday anything can happen. We have seen Highlanders train every week and we even know who they are going to field. For us the aim is to win every game that we are left with and what I can say is that we have got a good plan for them come match day,” said Ndlovu.

Life has not been easy in the top flight league for Amakhosi as they find themselves second from the bottom on the table with 19 points from 29 matches.

They go into the match in high spirits after beating title chasers Ngezi Platinum Stars 1-0 in their last game.

They however, face a tricky encounter against Highlanders who have gone for two games without a win following a goalless draw with Caps United and a 1-1 stalemate away to Shabanie Mine.

Highlanders are sixth on the league table with 44 points.

City will have to do without veteran and former Highlanders skipper and defender Eric Mudzingwa and Devine Philemon who are both nursing injuries as well as the suspended duo of Humphrey Ncube and Tatenda Tavengwa.
