AFTER calls were made at Barbourfields Stadium for fans to head to the Club House after their league game against GreenFuel, it turned out to be a chaotic scene at the venue.
It seems the fans were singing in a different tune.
A group of fans who were at Barbourfields for Bosso’s 4-0 rout over GreenFuel were asked by
security detail at the gate demanded that fans pay for entry to the Club House.
However, they felt that they should be allowed to the venue free of charge as they had already paid at the stadium and couldn’t part with their money again.
It turned out to be a chaotic scene at the Club House with supporters trying to force themselves into the leisure spot.
Calls for fans to boycott the Highlanders versus Green Fuel FC at Barbourfields Stadium earlier today were heeded by a few as the clubhouse was virtually empty at least 20 minutes before the game.
The call for another boycott followed the first boycott of a match putting Bosso against ZPC Kariba last month that turned out successful after fans converged at the clubhouse and snubbed their traditional home.
Prior to the game at BF, an overzealous security personnel at the clubhouse tried to bar a Chronicle photographer from capturing pictures of the empty clubhouse.
He insisted that the news crew must get authoritisation from the organisers before taking pictures.
