Chicken Inn wary of unpredictable Triangle

FORMER Castle Lager Premier Soccer League champions Chicken Inn are wary of Triangle United, a club they will entertain at Luveve Stadium on Saturday.
Under the guidance of Thulani “Thuts” Sibanda, Triangle United have been blowing hot and cold and are within the relegation zone.

“We are playing against a bruised side. They are fighting relegation and their coach is a Bulawayo guy who knows us well. He knows about the Luveve turf so it’s going to be a tricky match. However, we will concentrate much on how we want to play the match,” said Chicken Inn head coach Prince Matore.
The Gamecocks will go into the match with a clean bill of health after George Majika, Richard Hachiro, Tafadzwa Kutinyu, Brian Muza and Shepherd Mhlanga regained their full fitness.
“We have no injuries this time around. Everyone is fit and raring to go. We have prepared well and we hope to collect maximum points. It’s not going to be an easy task as Triangle will also be out to get three points.
“We are at a crucial stage of the season and we are happy that we have been picking up points. We hope and pray to continue on that path. However, we will not underestimate our opponents who are fighting to avoid relegation,” said Matore.
Perched on position four on the log table Chicken Inn will be hard pressed to keep a close check on log leaders Ngezi Platinum Stars, second paced Highlanders and Dynamos who are on position three.
Triangle United boast of ex-Chicken Inn midfielder Joe Nyabinde, a player who can win the game for Sugar Sugar Boys.
Also in the Triangle United camp is gifted goalkeeper Matripples Muleya an ex-Bulawayo Chiefs goalie who has worked hand in glove with Sibanda for a longtime.
Muleya is on record saying they want to leave the City of Kings and Queens with maximum points.
He said he has all the motivation to do well against the Xolani “Lolo” Ndlovu captained Chicken Inn side.
