A distraught family from Botswana has come forward with a heart-wrenching plea for help, revealing their daughter, Dina Bothale, has been ensnared in a dangerous relationship with her ex-boyfriend, Motlatsi Bosigo, a notorious drug lord operating in Botswana, Zimbabwe, and South Africa.

According to the family, Bosigo’s reign of terror has left Dina living in fear, subjected to physical and emotional abuse.

“He has beaten her mercilessly, boasting that his connections will protect him from any consequences,” said a tearful family member.

“In one horrific incident, he drove a car they were in into a tree, leaving her with severe injuries, including head trauma, knee damage, and a broken shoulder.”

Despite reporting the incidents to local authorities, the family claims they have been met with inaction, prompting them to seek assistance from authorities in Zimbabwe and South Africa.

“We have tried everything to protect our daughter, but Bosigo’s influence and connections have made it impossible for us to get justice in Botswana,” they lamented.

The family described Dina’s current situation as a “near prisoner,” trapped in a cycle of abuse and fear.

“We are desperate for help. We want Bosigo held accountable for his crimes and our daughter to be free from his grasp.”

The family revealed that even when Bothale managed to break free from her estranged boyfriend he resumed the threats on her life when he discovered that she was pregnant and eventually gave birth, accusing her of cheating on him.

The case has sparked concerns about the reach and influence of drug cartels in the region, with many calling for increased cooperation between law enforcement agencies to combat the scourge of drug-related violence.

As the family’s plea for help resonates across borders, they have since approached authorities in Zimbabwe and South Africa to investigate and bring Bosigo to justice.
