Queen of Amapiano, ShaSha, is set to travel to Zimbabwe for a show in Harare on Sunday. All eyes are on her since she failed to show up for the Victoria Falls Carnival, together with DJ Maphorisa and Kabza De Small, a move which angered Zimbabweans.

The South Africa-based Zimbabwean singer is set to perform alongside local artistes at the Fiesta Fiesta event taking place at Alex Sports Club.

Stratosphere Events managing director Chuckie Ayisha aka DJ Chuckie assured local fans that the “Tender Love” hit-maker will travel down as all of the logistics are in place.

“Fiesta Fiesta has been doing a lot of Amapiano editions for the past few years, so for volume eight which happens to be the last one, we decided to bring ShaSha. This is because she’s Zimbabwean and we wanted to end the Amapiano edition on a very high note. That’s the reason why we booked her as she’s the queen of Amapiano.

“We paid her and made sure that she’s going to come. Her travel and accommodation logistics are all in place and what’s left is for her to come down,” DJ Chuckie said.

The musician who had been under the radar for the past two years is back with a bang and is riding high with her release of the track, Themba Lami which features Ami Faku as well as Ungowami which features Soa Mattrix.

Following her failure to attend the Vic Falls Carnival for reasons best known by her, most locals felt betrayed. However, a month later, ShaSha issued an apology and promised to do something special for her local fans. This forthcoming event is an opportunity to redeem herself and it remains to be seen how she will handle things.

The outdoor event could not have been better timed as people are welcoming the summer season and in the mood to braai and enjoy music with friends and family.
