First Family showcases agricultural success to Cabinet Ministers at Pricabe Farm

Kwekwe, Zimbabwe— PRESIDENT Emmerson Mnangagwa, alongside First Lady Dr Auxillia Mnangagwa hosted Cabinet Ministers at the First Family’s Pricabe Farm to appreciate the farm’s diverse end products, including mealie meal, bread, cakes, flour, biscuits, stock feed, and potatoes.

During the visit, the ministers sampled freshly baked bread and buns produced on the farm, highlighting the quality and variety of agricultural products being cultivated in the region. This engagement underscores the government’s commitment to promoting local agriculture and food production as a means of enhancing food security.


Currently, Pricabe farm has 300 hectares of winter wheat, 200 hectares of barley and 30 hectares of potato crop. The farm has over 2000 head of cattle of different breeds, including the Ankole breed, goats, pigs and poultry, among other livestock. The farm serves as a remarkable example of agricultural excellence, inspiring others across the region.


The visit to Pricabe Farm aligns with the Government’s broader agricultural strategies aimed at increasing productivity and encouraging innovation within the sector. As Zimbabwe strives to improve its food production capabilities, such initiatives play a crucial role in transforming the agricultural landscape.
