As fun lovers anticipate the second installment of the beloved Garden of House event in Bulawayo, a movement from Plumtree is also preparing to make their way to the city to support one of their own.
The lifestyle event for deep house enthusiasts, which is rapidly growing, is now one of the must-attend events in the city, as evidenced by the huge crowds it attracts.
A new addition to the line-up, sought-after DJ Yugoe from Plumtree, is promising to bring a new crowd from the border town. One of his handlers, arts promoter Handy Sibanda, shared his excitement about Yugoe being added to the line-up and said he has arranged transport for those from Plumtree who want to attend the event in support of one of their own.
“I’m so excited that DJ Yugoe will be on the August line-up for Garden of House. And as always, wherever Yugoe goes to play, Plumtree goes with him to show love and support. So, I’m organising a trip and we have only 50 seats available for those interested in going,” posted Handy on his Facebook page.
Yugoe is equally thrilled at the opportunity to perform for a diverse crowd.
“I’m thrilled to be part of this big house movement event. My goal is to take the audience on a journey, with smooth transitions that will keep them engaged,” he said.
“I believe this event is not just about the music; it’s about creating a shared environment experience that leaves lasting memories. I look forward to connecting with the crowd and feeling the vibrant energy.”
The event will be held on August 4 at the Zimbabwe International Exhibition Centre (ZIEC) arena. It will welcome individuals aged 21 and above from midday till late. Joining DJ Yugoe on the decks will be DJ Stokswit, Sfiso, Skaiva, Datboi Fresh, Nizhe De Soul, Samuel Cosmic, Ryan Synth, and Kotwane Hikwa.
Meticulously crafted to cater to the refined tastes of house music enthusiasts, the Garden of House is set in an upscale outdoor setting. It serves as a platform to spotlight local talent and empower emerging artists.
