GOSPEL lovers in the City of Kings and Queens will be treated to a dose of praise as songstress Mai Mwamuka will host the High Praise Experience on Saturday afternoon.

She will also launch her EP titled You Reign. The event to be hosted by MC Wil (Bulawayo) and MC Zed (Harare) will be held at Word of Life Auditorium. Pastor Barak, Mai Zee, Adrian Kaputen, Felix Elishua, Psalmist Thembi, Tatenda Gands, Moses Zivengwa, Annar Mass and Baba Walle are set to perform with special appearances from Bulawayo Sibambene, Women of Valour and Vocal Ex.

Mai Mwamuka said praising the Lord will be the order of the day in an auditorium that will bring together, gospel lovers from all walks of life.

“The High Praise Experience and You Reign EP launch have a powerful line, and the scripture which is the basis of our event is Psalms 149. We expect to praise God for who He is and what He has done in our lives.
“With the High Praise Experience, we’re coming together to give the glory He deserves, regardless of situations one can be facing,” she said.

She said the You Reign EP has four tracks and additional ones which are her fans’ favourites. Tracks on the EP are You Reign, Ngizinikela, Zvipikirwa and Usacheme featuring Mathias Mhere. Tracks like Usacheme and Zvipikirwa have already been released and are available on social media platforms.

“We’ve included my fans’ favourite tracks on the EP and these are Pane Nyasha, Totenda Jesu and Igama Lenkosi among others.”

Mai Mwamuka said attendees must expect a lot of dance and rejoicing in the presence of God.

“God always responds to the praises of His people so you’ll notice that this is not a called a concert, but an experience as we expect God to touch and revive our spirits from His presence,” she said. – @mthabisi_mthire
