Impi Yobugabazi gig on the cards

Impi Yobugabazi is set to pit artistes from the city who are touted as the crème de la crème in advocating for Zimbabwean cultures.

To be held on August 12 at the National Gallery Car Park, the show will be headlined by Great Stars Ijongosi, Amaqaqa, Sunduza Dance Theatre and Madewa Labantwana Bensindiso.

Languages wordsmith Sthandazile Dube will be the host.

Organisers of the event Dab Three Events director Archford Hadebe said: “Our aim is to promote local talent. We’ve worked with these acts on performances for YouTube content and we feel the time is now for us to give the audience live performances so they can be able to interact with their artistes,” said Hadebe. – @mthabisi_mthire
