IN an effort to promote school involvement and child participation in the arts, Intwasa Arts Festival koBulawayo is organising a small primary schools dance competition.

The Festival Director Raisedon Baya said the initiative, courtesy of Thembelihle Moyo, aims to provide a platform for young dancers to showcase their talent and creativity.

“Calling on all interested primary schools to register to participate in this year’s dance competition” read the post that was posted by Baya on Facebook.

The dance competition, open to all interested primary schools, will require participants to showcase a traditional dance lasting seven minutes.

Registration for the competition is now open, with a deadline set for September 26, 2023. Interested schools are encouraged to register by emailing their details to [email protected].
