Iyasa dancer Soso dies

ONE of the founding members of award-winning dance group Iyasa, Sonia “Soso” Mbaya, has died.
Soso died yesterday afternoon at Mpilo Central Hospital in Bulawayo following a severe asthma attack.
Announcing the news on his Facebook page, Iyasa director Nkululeko Dube said he and Iyasa were in deep shock.
“The Iyasa family is in deep shock! We’ve just lost one of our most illustrious artistes Sonia Mbaya popularly known as Soso or MaBree.
“We have been robbed of an amazing bubbly and loving daughter. Rest In Peace Soso. You are, was, will always be celebrated by us! Condolences to your immediate family and friends!! This is not easy to take in.”
