JUST IN: Best of Bulawayo artistes Masiyephambili track tops Eswatini radio chart

No doubt, there is power in collaborating, something that has been proven by the success of a track titled Masiyephambili by Vusa Mkhaya that features 17 artistes from Bulawayo.

The single that was released last month topped the charts on an Eswatini radio station, Hala Radio this past weekend. The track was on position four the previous week and it went two spots up to take position two.

The track outshone competition from great hits that include Blaq Diamond’s Summer Yomuthi which was on position eight, Nomcebo’s Xola Moya Wami on position 14 and Savuka by Slapdee featuring Busiswa on position 17.

The track which talks about the city’s artistes love for the city brings out the artistes unity and resilience.

Featured artistes are Joel Nyoni, Mimie Tarukwana, Mawiza, Lady Tshawe, Cingi, Novuyo Seagirl, Vuyo Brown, Qeqeshiwe, Asaph, Taz, Njabulo Moyo, Lamas Ellz, T3rry Tempo, Killemol, Desire Moyoxide, Erastas Nleya and Mthabisi Moyo.

Commenting on the success of the song, Vusa Mkhaya’s publicist Kudakwashe Takundwa said: “We’re excited about getting recognition from a portal based in Swaziland. We’re still hoping for more as we want to have it on the top spot one day.
