Juvenile injured in hit-and-run incident

POLICE in Bulawayo are hunting for a Honda Fit driver who did not stop after hitting a girl (5) with his vehicle.
In a statement, police said the incident occurred on 17 November 2023 along Gogomaluphahla Road, Mzilikazi.
Police appealed for information that may lead to the suspect’s arrest.
“Police in Bulawayo are investigating a hit-a-run road traffic accident that occurred along Gogomaluphahla Road, Mzilikazi on 17/11/23 in which a female juvenile aged 5 years was hit by a white Honda Fit motor vehicle. The victim sustained some bruises on the chin and forehead. The motorist did not stop after the accident. Anyone with information to report at any nearest police station,” reads the statement.
