Kombi driver on the run after hitting pedestrian

A commuter omnibus driver is on the run after hitting a pedestrian who sustained injuries on the leg and wrist near a rank.
In a statement, police said the incident occurred on 17 November 2023 near Waterfall’s rank along Ardbenie Road, Mbare.
“Police in Harare are investigating a hit-and-run road traffic accident that occurred along Ardbenie Road, Mbare on 17/11/23 in which a Toyota Hiace Kombi registration number ABG 0405 hit a pedestrian near Waterfall’s rank. The victim sustained some injuries on the leg and on the wrist. The driver did not stop after the accident,” reads the statement.
