LETTERS TO THE EDITOR: MDC MPs’ walk- out a disgrace Thabitha Khumalo leads MDC Alliance MPs’ walk out of Parliament last week

Editor — What happened last week was a disgrace. MDC Alliance Members of Parliament walked out of Parliament leaving many people baffled.

These are the same people who went around campaigning to get to Parliament and represent their followers. They are expected to demonstrate maturity in public yet they are rowdy and disrespectful.

I feel sorry for their families. I can’t just imagine how their children feel when they see their parents acting like school boys and girls in public.

They are destroying both their political stocks and their families. It’s sad that such old people can be manipulated by a single individual.

Their walk-out was not because they were protesting against the general election results but that the Constitutional Court declared President Emmerson Mnangagwa the winner.

It means if there was any one of them who could have attempted to use reason and logic and chose not to walk out, that member was going to face “disciplinary” action from Nelson Chamisa.

You can see how these fathers and mothers are being tagged around by their noses by their leader. It’s not only embarrassing, it’s sad.
