15:50 Doors at the Gwanda Magistrate’s Court where the nomination court is sitting have been closed. The gallery is still packed with CCC National Assembly candidates who arrived barely 10 minutes before the close of business. Candidates could not file their paperwork sooner as it allegedly was still on its way from Harare. Matabeleland South provincial elections officer Mr Rabson Nyoni has instructed security personel manning the nomination court not to allow anyone into the gallery as the clock hit 4PM. The CCC candidates who were already in the gallery are being allowed to submit their papers

15:45 It’s getting chaotic here amid reports that CCC is conducting last minute caucus, which may result in the list of candidates especially for the quota system being changed.
15:45 Some of the candidates who lost nominations during CCC candidates selection process are reportedly filling as independent candidates.Among them is Entumbane-Emakhandeni National Assembly member Mr Dingumuzi Tshuma, who has been replaced by Mr Prince Dube. Mr Dube was last minute replacement as the party had initially nominated Tichaona Mujati for the same constituency.
15:45 Just 15 minutes before the closure of the Nomination Court, Bulawayo Tredgold Magistrate Court is still a hive of activities with many candidates still to file their papers. CCC candidates who could not submit their nomination papers earlier in the day are among the candidates trying to submit their papers. According to Zec, candidates who will be in the building at 4 PM, will still be served post the scheduled closing time.And as things stand, it seems its going to be a long night.
