Magistrate Courts set for construction in Cowdray Park and Emganwini Prof Mthuli Ncube

A TOTAL of ZiG711 million has been earmarked for Bulawayo Metropolitan priority projects including the construction of Cowdray Park and Emganwini Magistrate Courts.

Emganwini Magistrate Courts is envisaged to have a two-storey floor with 14 offices  at a cost of ZiG1 650 000 while Cowdray Park Magistrate Court is a three-storey structure with 20 offices at a cost of ZiG 1 500 000

According to the proposed 2025 national budget, the Zimbabwe Anti-Corruption Commission is expected to procure an office block in the city at a cost of ZIG 4 620 000. On the health front, Ingutsheni Central Hospital is earmarked for rehabilitation, have its laundry building expanded, and installation of new laundry equipment,

Added to that, the health facility, electrical upgrading forwards, kitchen, laundry and other facilities will be carried out.

At Mpilo Central Hospital, purchasing and installation of laundry equipment at a cost of ZiG70 million are planned while the construction and renovation of staff houses renovation and upgrading of the maternity section are also earmarked.

Works at the Dr J.N Nkomo Museum, which entail the Memorialisation of Liberation icon will be carried out at a cost of ZIG6 million.

Another project is the construction of 4 800 housing units to accommodate non-commissioned members Imbizo Housing Project -ZNA
