Manhunt for hit-and-run motorist

POLICE have launched a manhunt for a hit-and-run motorist, driving a Mercedes Benz registration number ACW 4920, who left a pedestrian with leg injuries.

In a statement on X, police said the incident occurred on 25 November 2023, along Airport Road near BYD Garage, Hatfield, Harare.

“A man (32) sustained leg injuries after being hit by an unknown motorist driving a Mercedes Benz, registration number ACW 4920, along Airport Road near BYD Garage, Hatfield, Harare on 25/11/23. The motorist did not stop after the accident.”

“Investigations are in progress,” reads the statement.
