“Dancing brings joy, strength, focus to the body, mind and soul. I aim to create a fun and safe environment for dancers to build on dance education not only nationally but now on a regional set up.

“My works speak for themselves and I have performed in front of large audiences in Austria, Czech Republic, Swaziland and my homeland Zimbabwe, where I develop original choreographies and provide private dance lessons.

“I am a former member of Iyasa and a founding member of Soul Dudes which was once nominated in the Roil BAA for Outstanding Newcomer All Genres in 2020, 2017 and in 2018 to of Best dancer,” said Marcel.

Marcel has managed to establish his own dance studio.

“During the pandemic I managed to open my very own dance, fitness and choreography studio named Marcel Studio at Amakhosi Theatre and I am currently running with more than 20 members.

“My performances have seen me dance for the late President RG Mugabe at State House, Region 5 Youth Games, Nama awards, Zima awards,” said Marcel.
