Everybody’s Talking will be staged from November 15 to 17 while Ukholo the Musical” will be staged from November 24 to 25 at the Bulawayo Theatre.

Everybody’s Talking is a musical play that was written and directed by Mandipa Mashingaidze, better known as Mandi Mash.

The play is set to premiere at 7PM next Thursday followed by two showings on Saturday – the first at 2PM and another at 7PM.

Mandi Mash said the play tells the story of a young couple who start a new life together.

“The audience will be taken on an emotionally taxing journey where they’ll have to question their own personal life decisions as well as how much weight they ought to put on outsider’s words and thoughts,” Mandi Mash said.

With a cast of 13, Mandi Mash said the play was a representation of most people.

“This play is for every person who has been in a relationship. Relationships are tested when a couple has to decide how to handle information they receive from those they have always trusted to have their best interest at heart.

“The two-hour production will take the audience on this journey that is told through humour, music and an opinionated script.”

What will be more entertaining is that the cast includes rapper Cal Vin who plays Christian as well as TV personality Arthur Evans who plays the lead role of Robert Pilane.

Tickets for the play are being sold at the Bulawayo Theatre for $10 with only those aged 18 and above eligible to watch although it does not have X-rated content.

Ukholo the Musical which was produced by Sam Bongo, written by Jeffry Sibanda and directed by Bafana Dladla (SA) is a Christian play.
