President arrives in Byo for Zanu Pf People’s Conference

PRESIDENT MNANGAGWA has arrived in Bulawayo where he is expected to officially open the 21st Zanu Pf National People’s Conference today at the Zimbabwe International Exhibition Centre.
This morning His Excellency is also expected to sign a petition calling for the unconditional removal of illegal sanctions imposed on Zimbabwe by the US and its allies in the West.
The signing ceremony will be held at the Large City Hall. President Mnangagwa was accompanied by First Lady Auxillia Mnangagwa and they landed at the Joshua Mqabuko International Airport at 9:38am.
He was welcomed at the airport by his two Vice Presidents, Cde Constantino Chiwenga and Cde Kembo Mohadi.
Minister of State for Bulawayo Provincial Affairs and Devolution Cde Judith Ncube, Matabeleland North Minister of Provincial Affairs and Devolution Cde Richard Moyo, Information, Publicity and Broadcasting Services Minister, Dr Jenfan Muswere, Minister of Justice Legal and Parliamentary Affairs Minister Cde Ziyambi Ziyambi, Defence Minister Cde Oppah Muchinguri, Director General of the Central Intelligence Organisation (CIO) Isaac Moyo and Deputy Minister of Industry, Commerce Cde Raj Modi and senior government officials.
Former vice president Cde Phekelezela Mphoko was also present at the airport to welcome the Head of State.
Zanu Pf national Political Commissar, Cde Munyaradzi Machacha, Zanu Pf Bulawayo provincial chairman Cde Jabulani Sibanda Nketa Constitutency Member of Parliament, Cde Albert Mavunga, service chiefs and Zanu Pf provincial leadership were also present.
