The much-anticipated Insimbi ZeZhwane album launch is set to light up the Palace Hotel gardens in Bulawayo on Friday night. The popular venue will host the group’s latest album release, drawing excitement from fans and promising an electric rhumba night.

Insimbi ZeZhwane will share the stage with supporting acts Godolude, Eze-Energy Band, and Mocks Kwasa Stars. DJs Ayaxx, Keitho, and Mandoza are set to keep the energy high on the decks throughout the night.

This launch follows a successful debut event last week at Newtown Music Factory in South Africa, led by bandleader and bassist Meluleki “Brema” Moyo. This album marks Insimbi ZeZhwane’s first full release since the tragic passing of lead vocalist Elvis “Ma Eli” Mathe and drummer Thembinkosi “Maviri” Mpofu last year.

The group’s loyal followers, fondly known as the “Purple Nation” turned out in droves to support the band in South Africa. The album includes seven tracks, “Imbeleko”, “Ingqinamba”, “Umfukula”, “Morning Glory”, “Imbobo Zamajuba”, “Umathambula”, and “Mileage”.

Palace Entertainment director DJ Keitho expressed his enthusiasm for the launch, promising an unforgettable evening.

“Palace Hotel has been Insimbi ZeZhwane’s Bulawayo home base since they began performing in Zimbabwe. Even after losing their lead vocalist, we held their first comeback show here. We invite all rhumba fans to join us to celebrate the band’s latest work, along with performances by Godolude and other talented acts.”

He encouraged the Purple Nation to attend the event in numbers to celebrate Insimbi ZeZhwane’s new music and support the group’s journey into a promising new era.
