Second day of Zimbabwe Media Commission Media Indaba kicks off

ITS day two of the Zimbabwe Media Commission organised Post Election National Media Review Indaba being held at a Bulawayo hotel with various media houses set to present their submissions on coverage of the 2023 harmonised elections.
Chronicle Editor Mr Lawson Mabhena will present on behalf of the biggest media house in the country, Zimpapers.
Session two of the day’s event will be a review of Statutory Instrument 33 of 2008: Media Coverage of elections (General) Regulations.
The session will also deal with assessment by political parties of the coverage of the August 23 elections.
Session three will be a discussion on issues related to the operating environment and safety of media practitioners.
