SIMBA Bhora are in Gweru this Sunday to face TelOne in what is their last excursion to the South of the country this season.
And it could be the match that tips the scales in their favour as the race for the championship reaches fever pitch.
Ahead of this tie, the club supporters in Bulawayo are set to launch an official chapter this coming weekend.
The Chapter will be launched on Sarturday at Bulawayo Chiefs Lounge where structures will be put in place.
Expected to attend is a delegation led by club’s marketing manager.
“We are launching the Bulawayo Supporters’ Chapter this Saturday at Bulawayo Chiefs Village Lounge. At the launch we will also be in unveiling our structures in the presence of the club chairman, patrons and the marketing manager. Among the issues we hope to get resolved with this move are challenges of securing club regalia, transport to and from matches,” said the Chapter’s coordinator, Blessing ‘Boltcutter’ Chimuti.
“We all acknowledge the pressure and atmosphere in Bulawayo given that we are deep in the heart of Highlanders fans and where they dominate in terms of crowds but we are trying to gain more supporters here in the city,” Chimuti added.
“As we approach the last few crucial games we are taking each game as it comes. Yes we know the heat is on us as newbies in the league but we slowly capturing the attention of all football fans around the country. We are looking forward to possibly competing in the Caf Championships League,” Chimuti said.
‘Boltcutter’ also said most of the Chapter’s members will be traveling to Gweru to support the team against the Wifi Boys.
