Tanya Fear found unharmed Tanyaradzwa Fear

ZIMBABWEAN actress, Tanyaradzwa Fear, who had been reported missing in Southern California last week, was found safe on Monday, her manager said, and police say there’s no criminal probe into her disappearance.

Fear, who appeared in “Doctor Who” and other television shows and films, had last been seen on Thursday before her family reported the actor missing to Los Angeles police, her manager said.

The LAPD’s Missing Persons Unit confirmed that Fear had been located on Monday and her family had been notified.

There’s no criminal activity connected to her disappearance, according to the LAPD, which no longer has an open investigation.

“It is with great pleasure and relief to report that Tanya has been found safe, by Police today. We understand she is not physically harmed, but as a precaution, is being assessed at a local hospital,” Fear’s manager Alex Cole said in a statement.

In a statement last week, Fear’s family asked the Los Angeles Police Department to investigate her disappearance.

It was said that Fear left her Hollywood Bowl apartment on Thursday September 9 without her cell phone and purse.

She was reported missing by a friend.

After Fear’s family in the UK contacted the UK Foreign Office, a local LAPD police officer was deployed to visit Tanya’s house but the actor was not home. She was last seen by friends on Thursday September, 9 2021 at 10pm LA time.

Fear’s uncle, Jonathan Marimo had said the family was concerned.

“We are deeply worried about Tanya’s whereabouts, she is a bubbly, intelligent young woman who studied at Christ Hospital Boarding School and Kings College University in London,” said Marimo in the statement.

Fear’s mother Yvonne Marimo last week said: “I am devastated about this situation, and I appeal to anyone with information to please come forward to bring our daughter back home safely.”

Fear moved to Los Angeles after major roles in BBC Drama Dr. Who and the classic independent film, A Moving Image. A BAFTA newcomer, Fear is trying to further her career in Acting, Screen Writing and Comedy in Los Angeles.

Fear has been living in LA for six years on and off.
