Trio arrested for murder

Three people from Manyerere Village, Mudzi, in Mashonaland East Province, have been arrested in connection with a murder case.
Willard Macherenge (36), Johanes Makitsi (36), and William Dhlamini (19) allegedly assaulted Paradzai Gande (37) with switches all over his body following a misunderstanding during a drinking spree.
In a statement on X, the police said the incident took place on 1 February. Gande succumbed to injuries sustained during the assault. His body was conveyed to Kotwa Hospital for a post-mortem.
