BULAWAYO Chiefs have accumulated a massive 58 goals in nine games while conceding none in the Southern Region Women’s Soccer League, a feat that has excited their coach Evans Neta.

Unbeaten Chiefs top the table after collecting 27 points in their nine games.

Loxion Vipers are second after collecting 20 points in as many games.

Vipers have drawn twice, won six times and lost once to leaders Bulawayo Chiefs who are also known as Amakhosikazi.

Among the top scorers for Chiefs are Lauryn Mupasi and Patience Ndlovu who have both found the back of the net 15 times.

Nomqhele Donga has scored six goals while Last Mlalazi and Nothabo Nkabinde have been on target four times.

Chiefs maintained their 100 percent winning streak after a smashing 9-0 victory over Highlanders Royals, while Loxion Vipers beat Bulawayo Queens 3-0 and Lobengula City Queens four goals past Street Set at the weekend.

Neta is pleased by the way his charges have played this far.

“I would like to thank the girls for the good work. I think the girls have been taking instructions and following them. We reached the 50-goal mark and the girls celebrated and we are happy to achieve that feat,” said Neta.
