Following a Governmental directive to reopen the entertainment industry earlier this month after it was closed due to Covid-19 induced prohibitions, Muffia King, Navy Bwoi, and Danman Croc are scheduled to revitalise Victoria Falls on Friday.

This comes as bars and restaurants that have been closed since March last year have been allowed to open, only to fully-vaccinated patrons.

In an interview, the trio’s promoter Boss Wellas said the summer fiesta taking place at KoPanashe Leisure Resort is meant to bring Victoria Falls alive ahead of the December holidays.

He said the show that will only have 100 patrons will adhere to strict Covid-19 protocols.

“At the summer fiesta three artists, Muffia King, Navy Bwoi, and Danman Croc will perform. The show is to test waters as we are heading to December. The show will start at 3pm and end at 10pm as per demands of the curfew.”

He said he is grateful to government for reopening the arts sector as this will go a long way in supporting the careers of artistes and promoters.

Danman Croc

“Since the entertainment industry was closed last year, we’ve been facing a number of challenges as most artists survive through music. It’s been hard for me as a music promoter as well and we’re happy that the industry has been opened although not fully.

“It’s better to host 100 people than nothing at all. We appreciate this decision by the Government and we’ll make sure that we adhere to the regulations put in place to combat the spread of Covid-19,” Boss Wellas said. – @SeehYvonne
