WHEN Wexey (real name Wesley Tapiwa Siziba) received a call from radio personality Babongile Skhonjwa in 2013, he knew that he was destined for big things in the music industry.

Eight years down the line, Wexey is this week set to release his debut album with Bruce Thabiso Mpofu also known as Bruceman.

The album, Secrets which will be released this Saturday on iTunes, Amazon, Spotify and Buddie Beats, boasts of ten tracks

The duo will also collaborate with Visionariez on the song Mfonele.

Wexey, who owns Melowex Studios, told Chronicle Showbiz that their album Secrets is filled with the theme of love and will be a social commentary on how people deal and should deal with matters of the heart.

He said he believes that his maiden album will be “one to look out for” given his experience in the music business after working with many “successful artistes.”

“Besides being summoned by Skhonjwa to perform with Professor from Kalawa Jazmee, I have been fortunate enough to perform and work with the likes of Willis Wataffi, Khuxman, Mcheznana, Albert Nyathi, Platform One and Mzoe 7. Fans should therefore expect a well-done project,” said Wexey.

The producer also promised to shoot videos before the end of the year for some of the songs.—- @eMKlass_49
