Zaftas 2024: Neria 21, Bundu lead the pack as film industry celebrates excellence

The Zimbabwe Film and Television Awards (Zaftas) 2024 edition has come to a successful close, celebrating outstanding film practitioners and media players for the past year.
Held at Kingstone House in Harare on Saturday, the event marked its second edition and also featured appreciation awards for film professionals who have consistently excelled over the years.
Among the notable winners was former Chronicle intern Natasha Mutsiba, who claimed the Film and Television Reporting Excellence Award. Other winners included Ollah 7, recognised for his growing podcast, as well as Percy Soko and John Mabuyane for their contributions to the film industry.
Several film productions were also honoured, with Bundu, Inkaba, and Neria 21 among the standout productions of the evening.
