Zim records zero Covid-19 cases

NO Covid-19 positive cases were recorded in Zimbabwe yesterday, the Ministry of Health and Child care has said.

The last time when the country did not record any case in a day was on May 26.

According to the daily Covid-19 update from the Ministry, 16 RDT tests and 458 PCR tests were done yesterday and the results all came negative.

“The cumulative number of tests done to date is 66 712 (36 613 RDT and 30 099 PCR),” reads the statement from the Ministry of Health and Child Care.

Zimbabwe still has 567 confirmed cases, 142 recoveries and six deaths.

Meanwhile, South Africa cases continued to surge after 6 334 people tested positive for Covid-19 yesterday.

South Africa now has a total of 138 134 confirmed cases and 2 456 deaths.

 Zambia has 1 557 confirmed cases and 22 deaths.
