ZiMBABWE’S top dancehall export, Buffalo Soldier, has vowed to continue disrupting Nigerian artiste Burna Boy’s shows for humiliating him during a party in Johannesburg over the weekend.Big Buffs, (real name Thabani Ndlovu) as he is known in musical circles, on Saturday evening attended South African hip hop musician Da L.E.S’ annual All White Party with Queen V.

According to media reports from South Africa, the two had a scuffle when the All Eyes on Me hit maker tried to sucker punch the Izandla Phezulu hit maker accusing him of talking ill of him behind his back.

As news filtered through social media about the brawl, artistes from as far as Ghana began castigating Burna Boy for his alleged actions, with unprintable comments.

Big Buffs on Sunday disrupted Burna Boy’s show at a club called Taboo in Johannesburg and a video shoot in Yoeville on Monday.

Buffs, a multi-award winning recording artiste, said until Burna Boy publicly apologises for what he did, “the war was not over” and he would continue to disrupt his shows.

“Burna Boy should apologise publicly in order for me to forgive him. He humiliated me in public when he uttered some unsavoury remarks and wanted to assault me. I told him in Zola’s words Eyamadoda Ayipheli and I mean it,” he said.

Big Buffs said he suspects what Burna Boy did was a set up to use him to raise his career as they were at the same house on Friday and he did not say anything.

“I went to Da L.E.S’ house to finalise some business with him. Burna Boy was in the studio recording. Why didn’t he say something or confront me over the issue then? Why did he choose the party to make all that noise about me,” he said.

Big Buffs said trouble started when he arrived at the party and Burna Boy approached him saying he wanted to talk in private.

“I was there at the party with Queen V and just when we arrived Burna Boy came to me and said he wanted to talk to me at the back. When I obliged I found five guys waiting for me. Then he started shouting and saying I was talking sh** about him,” he said.

Big Buffs said the men at the back started pushing him around and seeing that he left the room in a huff.

“I went to chill at the VIP section with Queen V after that scuffle. After about 20 minutes from the corner of my eye, I saw Burna Boy rushing towards me and it was only after someone who was sitting behind me stood up and blocked him from sucker punching me,” he said.

Big Buffs said Da L.E.S’ crew and security details intervened but were more on Burna Boy’s side.

“When I wanted to beat him up I was pushed back by Da L.E.S’ security team and entourage. I slipped and fell numerous times and as I was worried about Queen V. I left and came back with reinforcements. That was when Burna Boy ran for dear life and cops were called in,” he said.

Da L.E.S said he was busy entertaining 1,500 guests at his party.

“I’ve no knowledge of what happened. My crew was with me and I was busy performing for my guests at the party. There were a lot of people there as the party had 1,500 people,” he said.
