Triangle 1-2 How Mine. TRIANGLE had their flame doused by a solid performance by How Mine who became the first team this season to beat the hosts at Gibbo in the Castle Lager Premier Soccer League.

It was an emotional victory for How Mine whose gaffer Luke Masomere lost his wife on Saturday after she collapsed and died in Sudan.

“I lost my wife yesterday and I’m not ready to make a post-match interview. I dedicate the win to my late wife though,” said Masomere.

Former Caps United captain, Tapiwa Khumbuyani, rose high to head home the opener in the 12th minute.

Limited Chikafa added the second in the 19th minute.

Triangle pulled one back in the 64th minute through Chasten Ngondonga in his first appearance this season.

Ngondonga showed composure inside the box as he directed his effort past Munyaradzi Diya after being set up by Pasca Manhanga.

Triangle coach Kelvin Kaindu blamed his defence for the two goals.

“It was difficult, we had lot of changes because of injuries. We didn’t play very well but we created enough chances and we could’ve won the game in the first half.

“They responded to our poor defending and punished us but they never created more chances”, said Kaindu.
