INGWEBU Breweries and sport brand Puma unveiled a new $3,000 kit sponsorship deal for Southern Region Division 1 log leaders Bulawayo City on Thursday. The kit included tracksuits and Ingwebu marketing manager Nkosana Ndlovu said they decided to partner with the team after realising their commitment and will to succeed. Ndlovu further pledged annual deals for the club based on the team’s success. “We recognise the good work they’re doing for the city and came up with this deal. We pledge a similar kit every year for as long as they keep performing well,” said Ndlovu.

Puma Zimbabwe representative Neo Nesbitt said: “I’ve lived in Bulawayo all my life and I’m glad to be associated with this success story. I’m proud of the team and we’ll continue as Puma to work with the team in future.” Bulawayo City patron and mayor Martin Moyo said he was happy with the team’s performance. “I’m happy with the way this team is progressing and I like the way it has recruited young players from the city. I hope one day this football club will be recognised internationally,” said Moyo.
