KAIZER CHIEFS midfield maestro Willard “Salt & Vinegar” Katsande  has urged his teammates to avoid complacency in their home match against defending MTN Top Eight champions Platinum Stars tomorrow.
The match is set for the FNB Stadium.

Amakhosi will start as favourites after winning the first leg 2-0 win away at Royal Bafokeng Stadium in Rustenburg.

“We are aware of the result but that doesn’t mean we have to go out there and defend, we will take it as a new game and play our usual game.  But we have to be cautious not to concede an early goal as that can put us under unnecessary  pressure,” said the Warriors enforcer.

Katsande said the two goal advantage is a huge bonus and they need to safeguard that and score an early goal that will frustrate their opponents.

He added that Stars is a difficult team to beat and have the potential of causing a huge upset .

Amakhosi are set to welcome Kingstone Nkhatha and Matthew Rusike who are back from injury and new signing Ovidy Karuru while Stars will have Patrick Kaunda.

In another semi-final encounter, Orlando Pirates play Bidvest Wits at Orlando Stadium in Johannesburg.
