PROPHET Blessing Chiza of Eagle Life Assembly has foretold the establishment of an African Christian film industry from Zimbabwe that will take the gospel to the continent and the world.
Addressing hundreds of church members at a movie premiere of Hades No Prevail at Eagle Life Assembly premises on Saturday night, Prophet Chiza said Zimbabwe’s film industry would be revived describing the movie as having a powerful storyline that kept congregants glued to the screen.

“I see the beginning of an African Christian film industry and some of you are going to do great exploits as actors and actresses. This is the beginning of great things for the gospel on the continent and the world,” he said.

Prophet Chiza said a Christian movie should teach whoever is watching a life lesson. He saluted the movie directors as he also learnt a thing or two.
“I learnt three things from the movie. Firstly the youth need to be counselled and mentored by Christians. This is very important. Secondly gossip in the church is a very dangerous cancer that can spread and destroy the church. Thirdly we need to do more as Christians to get the gospel out there to the lost,” said Prophet Chiza.

He said the movie challenged Christians to think outside the box in terms of evangelism citing how a character called Dino went into night clubs to preach to the lost.
“We need to think outside the box as the church in terms of evangelism. We should be going out there and preaching in places like bars and the like. That is where the lost and hurting people are found. They should be brought to our Lord Jesus wherever they are,” said Prophet Chiza.

He said the movie had room for improvement but for a first try was a step in the right direction.
“I want you to improve when you do the part two of the movie.

“For a first time effort I will give you 86 percent. This is because there is room for improvement as you can get 90 percent, 95 percent and 100 percent until you become perfect,” said Prophet Chiza.

He then prayed for the movie to go out into the nation and world and preach the gospel.
Through a voting system at the church, Hades No Prevail actor Reward Ndlovu (Dino an orphaned boy) won best actor and Audrey Mulenga (Aunt Rose, a single mother of two) won the best actress.

Prophet Chiza offered the winners 1,500 rands each for being voted the best actor and actress.
Hades No Prevail is a 1 hour 30 minute Christian feature film written by Shadreck Chaparadza-Mukumba who said there would be a part two before the end of the year.

“We want to grow the other characters in the movie. People like Dino who is a new Christian, Aunt Rose, who had a problem with her daughter over social media and the owner of a night club who has turned over a new leaf. We will be shooting the second part before the end of the year,” he said.

Hades No Prevail is a story about a young boy Dino who was orphaned at a young age and kept by his uncle who sexually abused him.
He then decided to run away from his uncle to live on the streets where the same abuse continues. After being framed for murder, he finds salvation through Aunt Rose, an evangelist.

The movie premiere was a family outing with couples watching the movie with their children and Prophet Chiza on two big screens.
