Simbarashe Dangah, Matabeleland Football Rugby Board spokesperson said there will be three preliminary matches played before the final.

“The teams will play three preliminary rounds and then progress to the final stages,” he said.

Dangah said the tournament is meant to keep rugby players active.

Champions of the event are going to be awarded medals, a floating trophy and prizemoney while the losing team would get a medal. Busters, who have been finding it difficult to field a full squad in previous events, recently embarked on a player recruitment drive and should therefore have enough players for this event.
