TORONTO will be hoping to maintain their one point lead at the top of the Zifa Bulawayo province Division Two league table when they face struggling Khami United at Pumula East Garage grounds tomorrow afternoon.

The Pumula East based side has accumulated a total of 50 points from 23 games. Khami are second from bottom in the 16-team table with 12 points off 22 games. They will be hoping for a positive result as they look to claw out of the murky waters of relegation.

The table toppers have gone for two consecutive draws going into this game. They were held to a 1-1 draw by relegation candidates CS Distributors before a nil all draw against league debutants Arenel last weekend. The results have given the chasing pack a chance to play catch up.

Toronto coach, Ghetto Nkala, remains confident his team will bounce back to winning ways.

“We are prepared for the game. It is going to be a tough game but we are aiming for a victory. The team has been playing well but our strike force is failing to find the back of the net. We have been working on our finishing and we are certain we will be back to our best this weekend,” said Nkala.

Toronto will be hoping strikers Phindani Ngwenya and Mgcinumuzi Moyo find the scoring form that has seen them score an impressive 26 goals between them this season.

Meanwhile, How Mine take their fine run in the league to Sotshangane for a date with an unpredictable Saints Academy outfit while second placed CIWU welcome Sabona Mzilikazi at Eveline High School in a potential thriller.
