FORMER Warriors goalkeeper Maxwell Nyamupangedungu and former Mighty Warriors captain Felistas Muzongondi have been appointed as acting committee members of the Footballers Union of Zimbabwe (FUZ).

The duo will serve in the roles until the next elective congress.

FUZ announced the news in a statement on Tuesday.

“Congratulations to Maxwell Nyamupangedengu and Felistas Muzongondi on their appointments as Footballers Union of Zimbabwe Acting Committee Members. The two will be assuming office immediately until the next Congress.

“This achievement is a testament to their dedication, hard work, and expertise in football and we wish you every success in your new duties,” FUZ wrote.
