Performing her solo eight-track debut album Makatendeka Jehovah live for the first time since “graduating” from backing Pastor Charles Charamba and his wife Olivia, Tigere showed no sign of being jittery on the stage.
“I am an eagle flying to dizzy heights and only time will tell. The audience was appreciative and this as the first live show gave me the confidence.

“Greater recognition must go to Baba and Amai Charamba for grooming me into what I am and only the future will lead me somewhere,” said Tigere.
She sang all the songs on the debut album namely Topemberera, Talk to me, Jesu idombo, Thank you Lord, Oh Lord, Inyasha, Wechina and Jesu Ishe Mupenyu.

On the cast she featured another recorded female gospel artist Sehlaphi Mthombeni who said she was learning the art of live shows from both Tigere and the Charambas.

“With one album to my name such shows help me gain in confidence in preparation for my time. I have learnt a lot from working with Irene and the Charambas,” said Mthombeni.

As supporting acts to the Charambas, Mthombeni and Tigere were indeed complementary.
