THERE is “daredevilry” and also “lunacy”. The aforementioned words underline Ntokozo “Legend” Ndlovu’s dream  to be a record-setter and be recognised  by the Guinness World Book of  Records.

Ntokozo ‘Legend’ Ndlovu

Legend who owns Infinity Levels barbershop has laid down the gauntlet for Passion Java to come down to his barbershop in Bulawayo and get a #MillionDollarHaircut.

“I agree, this is lunatic daredevilry but there is no harm in trying. I’ve been a barber since high school when I was in Form 3 and I’ve grown from strength to strength.

“It’s always been my destiny to break the record for the costliest haircut in the world and set a precedent in Zimbabwe and abroad.”

Currently, according to the Guinness World Records, the most expensive haircut cost £8 000 and was done by Stuart Phillips at the Stuart Phillips Salon in Covent Garden, London, UK, on October 29, 2007.

The person who made the appointment was Beverley Lateo of Pisa in Italy, who could not find a hairdresser that she liked in the whole of Italy.

The gist of this initiative does not necessarily centre around one getting an ordinary haircut, but is about one getting the haircut they “deserve”.

“The #MillionDollarHaircut initiative is about people getting haircuts that they deserve. It doesn’t make sense for a person worth millions to get a dollar haircut. This is about status.

“Those who belong to a few dollars class must get a few dollars haircut while those who get thousands, hundreds of thousands to millionaires and billionaires must get a haircut that corresponds well with their financial pedigree,” said the legendary Ntokozo.

One thing is for sure though, Prophet Passion Java is a spendthrift who is not shy to flex the bag, an act which Tweeps and those on Facebook and Instagram can attest to.

The showbiz man who owns a recording label, Passion Java Records has, on a couple of times, gone on a showboating spree on YouTube and other social media platforms showcasing cars, guns, jets, and cash and it is against this background that the Legend has tested Java’s resolve.

All of the above made Passion Java perfect for such a challenge and it is only a matter of time before we  see whether he will take up Legend at his offer.

From Java’s bags of money to American former boxer Floyd “Moneybags” Mayweather, Legend wants to up  the ante and make his #MillionDollarHaircut to a #BillionDollarHaircut challenge.

“My fish is out there in the sea and Passion Java, Floyd Mayweather, Jeff Bezos are some of the people that I’m looking at right now and it’s possible to achieve it.

“There are a lot of people out there who’ll have to spruce up their                                                                                         image with us,” said Legend. — @eMKlass_49
