A BULAWAYO magistrate has warned a 29-year-old casanova who sired seven children with six different women to stop his bed hopping habits.Cassidy Tendai Chimbwanda of Selbourne Park suburb was reprimanded by Bulawayo provincial magistrate Tapiwa Muchemwa when his girlfriend Lydia Sithole of Nkulumane 5 approached the courts seeking $200 maintenance for their two boys aged four and two.

Sithole told Magistrate Muchemwa that she needed the money to support her two sons as she was unemployed.

“Your worship, I’m applying for $200 for our two children but it seems Chimbwanda is failing to agree with my request. I’m not formally employed and survive mainly through vending,” she said.

Chibwanda said he could not afford to pay $200 per month because he was also not employed.

“Your honour, I still love Sithole. We had a slight misunderstanding. We’re failing to agree on small issues but my hope is that we will solve our differences and reconcile.

“I’m unemployed and l survive from the money l generate from renting a pool table l rent at Nust,” said Chimbwanda.

He told the court that he can only afford to give Sithole and the two boys $50 per month because he had five other children from different mothers that need his support as well. “Since you are like my little brother, I will give you free advice; desist from being a bed hopper if you want to achieve anything in life Chimbwanda.

“You will pay $100 every month for the two minors with effect from February 27. You will support the two boys until they turn 18 years,” said Magistrate Muchemwa.
